The Lemonade Stand

We, as teachers, are always stopping while reading to ask students what is going to happen next. We want students to be able to stop and monitor their understanding of the text. This will, in turn, help with their comprehension of the story. I wanted to stop in today to share some new resources I am using in my classroom to help students with this strategy. This anchor chart is in my Making Predictions Pack. I also have this little poster I hang as a reminder during read to self and partner for students.

The Leviners

Before you ever receive the wonderful treasures of a happy life, you must first give. Be of service to others. Only what you give can be multiplied back into your own life. This is the law of the harvest, the law of the ten-fold return. If you give nothing, even it is multiplied, you receive nothing. Sometimes we expect more from others because we would be willing to do that much for them.
